Deploy Sidecars

Deploy a cloud-managed sidecar service proxy​

  • Navigate to Resources > Sidecars in the web console.

  • Click on Deploy Sidecar located at the top-right of the data table.

  • Fill in the required information and deploy your sidecar.

  • Connect your sidecar with one or multiple connected services.

Deploy a self-hosted sidecar service proxy​

  • Pull sidecar docker image from your shared private registry.

  • Configure environment values and deploy your sidecar manually or with infrastructure-as-code.

  • Required environment variables: WHARF_URL, WHARF_API_KEY.

  • Optional environment variables: WHARF_SIDECAR_NAME, WHARF_SIDECAR_ENVIRONMENT.
